UNISON South East is hosting a Branch Officer Training Weekend aimed at newly elected and untrained officers. All training sessions will take place at the Utilita Bowl, Southampton.
Courses will be charged at £35 a day to the branch and are non-residential, meaning that branches must arrange accommodation for their own delegates. There is a Hilton Hotel in the Utilita Bowl and a Holiday Inn next door.
Courses will be run for the following positions:
- Branch Secretary
- Branch Chairperson
- Branch Equality Officer
- Branch Education Co-ordinator
- Women’s Officer
- Communications Officer
- International Relations Officer
