AGM Registration
The forum is open to all Community and Voluntary activists in the region who are registered stewards and work in the Community and Voluntary sector. Members interested in attending may register using the link below.
The forum is also open to Branch Secretaries with Community and Voluntary members on an ex-officio basis.
Nominations for elected positions
Elections to the following posts will be held at the meeting:
Committee seats:
a. Co-Chairs x2 (one of which must be a women)
Please note committee chair automatically receives a seat on the Branch Support and Organising Fund Group
Regional seats via service group:
b. Regional committee x2 seats (one of which must be a women)
c. Development and Organising Strategic Committee x1 seat
d. Finance and Resource Management Strategic Committee
- Regional Committee is the operational body of the Regional Council. The Regional Committee exercises the functions of the Regional Council between meetings and is accountable to Regional Council, to which it submits regular reports.
- Development & Organising is responsible for overseeing member recruitment and retention, organising and branch democracy and governance.
- Finance & Resource Management Committee is accountable to the Regional Council for all finances in the region relating to the lay member budget. It produces and monitors the regional budget, and reports to the Regional Council regularly.
All nominees must themselves be a UNISON member from the South East region working in the Community and Voluntary sector.

Elections will be by show of hands at the AGM and candidates will be allowed to address the Forum for no more than 5 minutes if they so wish prior to any election.
