This course is a one day session from 10am to 4pm, that is open to
both UNISON members and activists.
Course Aims and Objectives:
- Introduce and explain dyslexia and six associated neurodiverse
- Explore the characteristics of dyslexia and its workplace-related challenges
- Dispel myths associated with dyslexia and around the fear of disclosure
- Find out how to access support in the workplace
This course is not intended to be a day about how to manage someone in a workplace who is dyslexic, but is more of an introduction with some guidance and tips given.
This course is free for UNISON members and lunch will be provided.
