Everyone is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect. The ability to live and work without prejudice is a fundamental right, regardless of your background, identity and experiences. The UNISON South East Equality Conference aims to equip activists with the tools and resources to raise awareness of equality issues in the workplace.
We are pleased to announce the Equality conference will be taking place again this year on Tuesday 8 July 2025 at UNISON Centre in Euston. This will be an all day event for anyone with an interest in equality to come together and discuss the issues that matter to them.
Details of specific workshops and other guest speakers will be announced soon but we are pleased to welcome Olivia Bailey MP as our keynote speaker. Olivia is the MP for Reading West and Mid Berkshire and you can find out more about her work here.
The day will include a mixture of guest speakers and workshops on equality themed topics. Registrations are open now, so please complete an application form and have this approved by your branch secretary.
The event will be charged at the day delegate rate of £35 per person, to be paid by the branch, along with any travel expenses. The day rate includes attendance at both workshops and a buffet lunch.
