The International Seminar is our annual joint event run by by UNISON’s South East and Eastern regions.
During the day speakers will consider immediate issues affecting Trade Unions and workers in the global south, as well as the impact of Government policy on workers in the UK.
Invited speakers/subjects include:
- Alison Roche – UNISON Policy Unit (speaking on Brexit)
- TUC International Relations Department.
- Palestine Solidarity Campaign
- Justice For Columbia
In addition, officers from UNISON’s International Relations Unit will give an update on the union’s international priorities and our ongoing work to combat modern slavery throughout supply chains within public services.
If you would like to attend please complete the application form and return it as directed within by 5pm on Friday 14 September. This is also the deadline for receipt of any access or dietary requests.
The cost to branches is £25 per delegate, plus travel expenses and
subsistence. All applicants, please ensure your branch has agreed your attendance and signalled this by signing the form.
