To celebrate Young Workers Months, Portsmouth UNISON Young members’ Officer Cal Corkery has organised a social event for young trade union members and their friends.

On Tuesday 7th November we’re going to see a play called We Are The Lions Mr Manager which is about the famous Grunwick Factory Strike.

A group are meeting in the Bold Forester on Albert Road for a drink and a chat before heading to the Wedgewood Rooms where the play will begin around 7.30pm. Cal will be wearing a purple UNISON Young Members t-shirt so should be easily identifiable!

This will be a great opportunity to meet other local young union members. Feel free to invite and bring along any friends who aren’t union members – hopefully after the play they’ll be inspired to join one!
