Each year we hold our Annual General Meeting in February to elect the majority of other committees across the South East Region region. This is a physical attendance meeting.

The following outlines the processes for branches to register delegatesnominate members for elected positionssubmit motions & rule changes, and outlines all timetables and deadlines for when planning and attending branch committee meetings before the Regional Council AGM.

Branches need to register for the meeting using the online process. This is a two-step process involving the completion of the online delegate registration form and then verifying your submission by email. You will receive an email confirmation of your submission, containing instructions on how to verify after you’ve completed the online form.

Branches and Self Organised Groups are invited to notify us of
their delegates to Regional Council for the coming year.

Committee Posts and other Elected Positions
Branches, Self Organised Groups, Retired Members
Committee and Young Members Forum are invited to make
nominations to the variety of committees and elected
regional & national positions available in 2025. Nominees
may submit an election address and elections will then be
held at the AGM meeting.

Please note that following constitutional changes passed at the 2024 Regional Council AGM, branches will be nominating to two new strategic committees (Development & Organisation and Finance & Resource Management).

Additionally the Publicity & Campaigning, International, Welfare, and Health & Safety committees have been replaced by new networks that all branches will be invited to participate in next year.

Submit an Election Address

Motions & Rule Changes
Branches and Regional Committees & Groups are invited to
submit motions for debate and rule changes to the regional
constitution. Debates will take place at the AGM.

Reserved Seats
Service Groups, Self Organised Groups, the Retired Members
Committee and Young Members Forum are at this point also
invited to notify us of their delegates to reserved seats to the
various regional committees and groups for the coming year.

Visitors
Branches and Self Organised Groups are invited to notify us of any visitors they wish to send to the Regional Council AGM.

The closing date for return of visitor registration forms is 11 January 2025 at 5pm.
