SUMMARY:Regional Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Our Regional Council meets three times a year and is the main democratic forum in the region.
All branches are invited to send delegates to the council an this is where key strategic decisions about the union’s work in the region are taken.

Delegates are registered by branches at the start of the year. Any additional delegates for this meeting must be registered before the deadline.

The meeting is chaired by the Regional Convenor and/or Deputy Convenors. They are the most senior lay member positions in the region and are elected at the Regional Council AGM in February.
