This residential course is open to all women members and / or activists.
The course will be looking at the history of women in the workplace and society. Topics will include:
- Women’s suffrage and first wave feminism
- Women, power and institutions/organisations
- Historical account of women workers and their relationship with the trade union movement
- Gender and socialisation
