UNISON has made 2022 the Year of Disabled Workers.
We want to use these 12 months to highlight the experience of our disabled members, the value they bring to our union and to the workplace, and to call for better enforcement of legal rights including the right to reasonable adjustments at work.
This workshop will be led by UNISON organisers who have learning disabilities.
We will discuss a range of associated problems and share experiences on how to support colleagues in the workplace who may be struggling with discrimination, bullying, or lack of opportunity.
