The 2026 Training Programme includes all activist and member learning opportunities in the region for next year, and includes a something for everyone- whether if you want to develop your representation skills, become a Health and Safety Rep, learn more about union history, or much more.

We are also running a number of in-person courses throughout the South East, including the branch officer training weekend in Southampton, and courses in Havant, Brighton, and Maidstone, as well as at our regional office in Woking.
Courses are available to apply to now, so if you are interested in any activist courses please fill out an application form and send it to educationse@unison.co.uk, or if you would like to attend a member learning course please contact membereducationse@unison.co.uk to register your interest.

TUC Learning Site
TUC Education’s eLearning modules are great resources to help reps keep up to date on key workplace issues. Here you will find short bite-sized modules (eNotes) and longer eLearning courses. Each eNote is a self-contained module that contains a mixture of text, video and quizzes. They last between 20 and 45 minutes and can be returned to as many times as you like.
UNISON Learning Site
This site hosts a number of online learning resources for UNISON members. You will find a variety of short activities which you can complete on this site, as well as directions where to find other useful union learning resources.
