The Regional Council is the governing body of the region and all branches are invited to participate. We run on an annual cycle, meeting three times a year to develop regional policies and determine the region’s objectives and priorities.
The general secretary election is your chance to vote to elect the most senior person in our union. Every UNISON members is encouraged to use their vote. After hearing from all the candidates, the Eastern Regional Council voted to nominate Christina McAnea. More information
