UNISON is celebrating October as Black History Month, which this year is themed on Saluting our Sisters.

The Eastleigh Borough Black members group will be holding an event to help celebrate the contribution of Black workers to UK society.

Come along and meet UNISON representatives near the lift at Eastleigh House next Tuesday 10 October from 12 noon – 2pm and also find out more about the support they offer their members.

They are running a free prize draw on the day (open to everyone) to win two tickets to see stand-up Munya Chawawa at Southampton Guildhall on Thursday 26 October (over-18s only).

Munya is master of comedy who burst onto the scene thanks to his satirical humour, rapid reactive observations, and a roster of original characters.
