The South East Region LGBT Group met on Saturday 20th May at UNISON Centre in London.
Dr Jasna Magic from ILGA – Europe spoke about the challenges facing many LGBT people across Europe including the appalling situation facing LGBT people in Chechnya.
ILGA-Europe – the European Region of the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA) is an international non-governmental umbrella organisation bringing together 490 organisations from 45 European countries. ILGA-Europe was established as a separate region of ILGA and an independent legal entity in 1996. ILGA itself was created in 1978.
