UNISON pay negotiations at South East Water have yielded an above inflation pay rise. Staff will get a 3% pay rise which will keep wages in line with the forecasted cost of living. Caroline Fife Regional Organiser said ” UNISON put a lot of work into the pay claim focusing on the high cost of housing in the South East. If staff spend more than 30% of their income on housing they wont have a decent standard of living. Many staff are paying more than this and deserve a decent pay rise.”
South East Water is an accredited Living Wage employer.
