Let’s talk self-care – Wellbeing Webinar

Throughout the current Covid-19 national emergency, we’re seeing once more the importance of learning for people’s wellbeing and mental health. UNISON South East’s Regional Learning and Development Organiser, Abbey Dunn, and Area Organiser, Vicki Gibbs, have developed an hour long wellbeing webinar for all members within the South East.

It is vital that we look after both our physical and mental health in the current situation. You can watch the video of the webinar here.

The webinar, presented by Abbey Dunn, talks about many valuable ways in which we can care for ourselves during lockdown.

  • Identifying and managing stress
  • Practical ways to improve wellbeing – from exercise to meditation
  • Managing exposure to the media
  • Managing the inner critic – inner coach debate
  • Additional resources and activities to boost wellbeing

Here are some additional resources regarding a few of the topics discussed in the webinar.
