This session seeks to raise awareness of violence towards women, look at reasons why women do not report violence as well highlight ways to protect yourself whilst out and national services which aim to help those who need it.


Health and Safety at work

A great session for those wanting to know more about Health and Safety in the workplace and the legislation where Health and Safety laws come from. We will look at risk assessments and how UNISON can help those wanting to get more involved.


Core Skill: Interviews

An hour session for those wanting to refresher interviews skills. This session will look at the job market of today and what to do before, during and after an interview.


Anti-Bullying Week: Bullying and Harassment in the workplace

Date: 14 November 2023 Time: 12noon–1pm Course code: 08-23-0012

Bullying and Harassment is not something that only affects young people, bullying at work is a widespread issue. This session will look at the legal protections of an employee, what an employer should be doing to support this and how UNISON actively campaigns for an anti-bullying workplace.
